Family Services - Credit Repair Workshop

The Homeownership Resource Center and Consumer Credit Counseling Services are both divisions of Family Services, Inc. Therefore, we are in a unique position to offer our clients one-stop services for their homebuying and credit needs.

Many of our potential homebuyers are in need of additional help when it comes to understanding and cleaning up their past and current credit. We offer many types of credit counseling. One of our most popular workshops is the Credit Analysis Workshop.
This workshop will provide you with an in-depth evaluation of your credit and inform consumers how to improve their credit scores. It is structured for those in need of additional help when it comes to understanding and cleaning up their past and currect credit. During this workshop you will: receive a copy of your credit report with a written analysis and a score from all 3 credit agencies, learn how to increase your credit score, be provided with tips on budgeting, and learn the process of how to dispute items on your credit. The analysis will indicate what actions the participant should take with each account listed on their credit report and how to improve their credit scores in as little as 30 days. Workshops are held on the last Tuesday of each month from 6:00PM until 8:30PM. FEE - $75.00 (this fee will be credited to the Credit When Credit Is Due workshop upon completion)

For individuals who need more in-depth instruction on the proper use of credit and better budgeting skills we also offer the Credit When Credit Is Due workshop, an in-depth and nationally recognized credit and budgeting program. Anyone who experiences difficulties budgeting their funds or has credit difficulties is strongly urged to attend This workshop is held on Saturdays from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
