Building neighborhoods one homeowner at a time is the vision behind Family Services, Inc.'s Homeownership Resource Center (HRC). Established in 2003 the HRC is a HUD and South Carolina State Housing approved housing counseling agency. Although our homeownership workshop is the most popular of our programs our counselors are also trained in reverse mortgage counseling, mortgage default and foreclosure counseling, and credit counseling.

In October 2005 the Homeownership Resource Center became the only NeighborWorks® America affiliation in the state of South Carolina. The HRC provides a complete package for all of your housing education needs and information.  Additionally, we offer downpayment assistance loans for low-to-moderate income buyers in targeted communities.
